Catholic students and space availability

Children who are baptized Catholic, or have a parent who is Catholic, are automatically eligible for registration in their community OCSB school. Non-Catholic children will be welcomed on a space availability basis. Your child's name will be placed on a waiting list, and you will be contacted as soon as space is available. At this time, there is space available in all of our elementary schools. Our secondary schools are always open to ALL students.

Before and after school care

Extended day programs are offered in most of our elementary schools. Some schools even offer licensed toddler and preschool programs for the years before they begin kindergarten.

Find child care options

Yellow school bus route schedules are available each year by the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA). Eligibility is determined by your child's grade level and distance from your home or caregiver address. Find out if you are in the walkzone, or if your child is eligible for transportation. And don't miss Safety Day for pedestrian and school bus safety. Held at five locations on August 27 or September 24.
